Universal Breakout Board (8:10 card) ==================================== The Universal Breakout Board (UBB) is designed for soldering to a 50 mil (1.27 mm) ribbon cable. A 5 mm landing zone is provided next to the solder pads for gluing the cable to the PCB. Furthermore, an 1.5 mm wide overshoot space for coating is left between the solder pads and the temporarily inserted zone. The board thickness should be 1/32" (0.8 mm). The board can be single-sided or double-sided. In the latter case, a via connects the back side to ground.
