49a1bbdd05 Added a new pad type: trace pads, for antennas and other trace-like elements.
- layer.h (enum pad_type): added pad type pt_trace
- layer.c (pad_type_to_layers, layers_to_pad_type), inst.c (inst_pad):
  "trace" pad instantition and conversion infrastructure
- fpd.y (pad_type), dump.c (print_obj): .fpd file I/O for "trace" pads
- postscript.c (prologue): added Postscript function "horpath" to produce
  horizontal stripes
- postscript.c (hatch): show "trace" pads with horizontal stripes
- gui_style.h (gc_pad_trace), gui_style.c (gc_pad_trace, gui_setup_style),
  gui_inst.c (pad_gc): added visualization of "trace" pads
- gui_status.c (show_pad_type): added "trace" pad type
- README: added description of "trace" pads
- README: added usage examples for the various pad types

e047cc074d Holes can now also be output as KiCad modules.
- gui_style.c (gc_rim): slightly increased brightness when inactive
- kicad.c (kicad_pad): move coordinate transform to new function kicad_centric
- kicad.c: added pads with holes and mechanical holes
- inst.h (struct inst.u.hole), inst.c (inst_hole): added "layers" field, like 
  for pads
- layer.c (LAYER_COPPER, LAYER_PASTE, LAYER_MASK): renamed to LAYER_*_TOP and
  added macros for corresponding bottom layers
- layer.c (refine_layers): mirror top layers of through-hole pads
- layer.h, layer.c (mech_hole_layers): return the layer set for mechanical 
  layers

1dda2ac2ae When creating an object in the GUI, its label wasn't initialized. Added
infrastructure for hole objects. (Postscript and KiCad output are still 
missing, and so does sanity checking.)

- gui_tool.c (new_obj_unconnected): set obj->name to NULL
- added hole objects to tool bar, all the various GUI routines, the .fpd
  parser, and the .fpd dumper

cd830046fa Drawing all the pad layers as filled areas can cause confusion. Now we draw
the solder mask with lines.

- gui_inst.c: draw solder mask with lines, not with filled rectangles and arcs
- gui_style.c: increase line width for solder mask from 1 to 2 pixels
- Makefile: added manual/concept-inst.png (forgot to commit this before)

5c37256c09 - bare pads are now drawn in orange, so that one can see if a pad has a special
solder mask pattern 
- postscript.c: don't scale fonts down to nothing to make measurement text fit
  (in progress)

347ef8aad5 When deleting frame "foo" in root->foo->bar and then linking bar from root,
bar didn't automatically become active, which was rather confusing. We now
also try harder to keep a frame active. 

- when deleting a frame, also reset all outbound active references
- when removing the active frame reference, search for a suitable replacement
  instead of just setting it to NULL
- gui_style.c: made inactive frames a little more visible

94f4534494 - measurement offsets can now use variables. We evaluate the offset during
instantiation and create a partially formed instance. During measurement
  instantiation, we complete that instance.
- leak.supp: finally figured out how to write a valgrind suppression file
- fped.c: we don't need the FPED_NO_GUI kludge anymore
- fped.c: moved gui_cleanup_style to gui_main
- dereference icons (seems that this doesn't deallocate everything, though)

4db1ade3bd - Makefile: now requires /bin/bash (for PIPESTATUS)
- Makefile: use PIPESTATUS to catch errors in the icon conversion pipe
- Makefile: whitespace and comment cleanup
- gui_style.c: removed no longer needed definition of INVALID

0e0e4ea32d - fixed precedence of unary minus, so that -(a+b) isn't printed as -a+b
- removed in_path logic (never missed not having it) and made selected vectors
  a little brighter

e65d90947c - put hbox around frame table so that it doesn't grow when we give it more
space than it needs
- dump.c: separated ordering function from actual printing

39690c9cb2 - to simplify communication between the various modules, renamed "ctx" to
draw_ctx, moved it to gui_util.c, and made it a global variable
- moved drawing logic for hovering and dragging into dedicated state machine
  in gui_over.c
- hovering now uses a pixmap to restore the background instead of redrawing
- moved hover drawing functions from gui_inst.c to gui_tools.c
- made hover circle thicker

8377ab0e0d - previous Makefile change was: tentative fix for compatibility with older
ImageMagick versions (reported by Alvaro Lopes)
- we can now also select the frame's origin as a reference
- added general frame selection logic
- make sure we always use %s when passing names to status_set_name
- we can now drag endpoints (in progress)

5add8b5229 GUI can create silk screen objects.
- made xpm name manipulation compatible with older versions of ImageMagick
  (reported by Alvaro Lopes)
- corrected all lines beginning with five or more spaces
- Makefile
- README: fixed loop example (reported by Joerg Reisenweber)
- moved draw_arc and draw_circle from gui_inst.c to gui_util.c
- added dragging and hovering
- added creation of lines, rectangles, and arcs via GUI
- removed arc tool (use circle instead)
- fixed reference counting in vectors
